Job Description

 

Job Title: Apprentice Business Administrator

Reporting Line: Operations

Reporting To: Branch Manager

Purpose of Position:

To help support the efficient running of the Branch administration, for the care management teams and staff, maintaining high standards of care at all times.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • To maintain a good relationship between staff and clients, by showing sensitivity to the needs of others
  • To maintain total confidentiality regarding information about patients and ensure that all patients are treated in a courteous and respectful manner
  • Undertake administration duties to include but not restricted to: reading coding, scanning of clinical documents, workflow management, monitoring lab results, new patients, deductions, pulling and filing patients’ notes, opening posts, registrations, emails, summarising documents, minuting meetings, telephoning patients and hospitals and running audits
  • Any other admin duties the management team feels appropriate to the role
  • This is a very demanding intense role and you will be dealing with sensitive issues

Training and Qualification

You will be undertaking the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard and fully supported.

You will be developing Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours in the following areas:

As part of the Off-the-job training you will complete a portfolio of evidence, attend online workshops, have time to study independently, undertake research and write up assignments.
