Melody Care is a quality, trusted, and award-winning provider of home care services in and around Camberley & Frimley. We are currently recruiting Carers (internally known as Professional Carers) to join our established team working with vulnerable adults in their own homes.
We offer guaranteed hour contracts of 10, 16, 25 and 35 hours per week.
WE DO NOT OFFER THE CERTIFICATE OF SPONSORSHIP. ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE A CAR DRIVER WITH OWN CAR.
As a Reablement Professional Carer, you will be required to help clients in the community with;

Assist with Mobility;
After an injury or illness people often lose confidence moving around, encouragement, support, and adaptations can help them regain their confidence and be as independent as possible.

Making Food & Drinks;
Empowering & helping people to make their own food & drinks and assisting where necessary.

Personal Care;
To assist with personal care if a person is unable to wash and dress independently. To always preserve dignity and privacy and give people the freedom to do things whenever they choose.

Housework;
To encourage people to do as much as they can for themselves and look at how some difficult tasks can be achieved in different ways.

Shopping;
Identify a person\\\'s personal preference and encourage them to continue their day-to-day tasks such as shopping.

Family, friends & community groups;
To be able to identify the ways people want to establish or maintain contact with family, friends and community groups. You may be able to support the individual to reconnect to their local community by providing information, but also by giving them the confidence to go out and also use public transport.

Health & Wellbeing;
Supporting independence and monitoring any health issues or deterioration - ensuring the person can access appropriate help.

Pain Management;
Ensure that the person has access to support from healthcare professionals so that pain is well managed.

Support Planning;
Working with other health care professionals to assess the level of care needed, if any, to help the person live as independently as possible once their reablement care has come to an end.
