We’re thrilled to announce that Melody Care has been nominated for Homecare Provider of the Year at this year’s Hampshire Care Awards! This is a momentous occasion for us, as we are one of just three finalists chosen from nearly 900 providers in the area. This nomination is a testament to our dedication, hard work, and the innovative approach we take towards care.
Over the past year, our team has gone above and beyond in so many ways, which has played a significant part in why we were picked as finalists. One of our most heart-touching contributions was helping to arrange a client’s wedding in a very short timeframe before he tragically passed away. It was a poignant reminder of the impact we can have on people’s lives, far beyond the day-to-day care tasks. Additionally, our Regional Manager, Amanda, spread festive cheer by creating and delivering Christmas meals to our clients, ensuring nobody felt alone during the holiday season. Our commitment to the community was further demonstrated through our efforts in collecting food for local food banks and organising a Brass Band Concert with a raffle supporting the Care Workers Charity, an event that even the mayor of Rushmoor attended.
This past year, we also celebrated our 1 millionth visit – a milestone that fills us with pride and gratitude. At Melody Care, we believe in providing more than just care; we aim to enhance the quality of life for our clients. This involves an innovative approach to care, including excellent in-house training for all of our carers and the introduction of a new state-of-the-art care system to ensure we deliver the best possible service. Our focus is not merely on task-based care but on ensuring our clients lead the lives they want, engaging in activities they enjoy, and staying in their own homes.
